Inskip Elementary is now 100 years old. To mark the major milestone, students, teachers, and city leaders helped plant trees outside the school.
The school's principal says its 100-year history has left a lasting impact on the community.
"It just shows that Inskip is a true, strong community and it will continue to be so," said Principal Elisa Luna.
Friday evening, Inskip is hosting an open house for classroom tours, viewing of school memorabilia, and for community members to see the school's 100-year timeline. The open house ends at 7 p.m.
