A single vehicle accident in North Knox County killed a Clinton man early Saturday morning.
According the Knox County Sheriff's Office website, Carl Williams, 48, lost control of his 1985 Corvette and flip his car on West Beaver Creek.
Investigators said Williams hit a curb, which ejected him from his vehicle. The Corvette then flipped over on its top.
Rural Metro emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
Authorities said Williams was not wearing a seat belt and that speed was a factor.
