There's a new cookbook from the folks over at Blackberry Farm.
This one is called The Foothills Cuisine of Blackberry Farm. It holds recipes from the chefs and artisans that make up the experience of the farm.
The book is also a lesson in how the people of the foothills used to live, and how people of today can learn to be self-sufficient, with simple recipes that you can make in your own kitchen. (Unless you live at my house where the kitchen is about as big as a postage stamp.)
I could still do it though! Times of planting, hunting and harvesting are a thing of some people's past, but this cookbook takes you back there and brings it up to the forefront.
