A personnel file for a Halls High School administrator reveals a little more information about the investigation that resulted in him being placed on leave.

Assistant Principal Mark Majors was placed on administrative leave with pay on November 2.  Officials are investigating allegations of unbecoming conduct.

A transcript of a meeting Majors had with Knox County Schools officials shows the investigation into Majors' actions started with the investigation of another employee.

Cell phone records revealed that communication between Majors and that female employee could be perceived as harassment, and Majors apparently admitted that context of those messages was inappropriate and unprofessional.

Majors asked the disciplinary manager to suggest to the superintendent that he be reassigned to another work location, Instead of being put on leave.

Majors was hired in 1992.  His file revealed no other disciplinary action.
