A man shot by a Knoxville police officer outside West Town Mall earlier this month is now out of the hospital. Knoxville police say 30-year-old Abraham Dudley was released from UT Medical Center.
Witnesses called 911 back on November 1 while police say Dudley was fighting with his girlfriend in the mall parking lot.
He then got into an altercation with police when Officer Christopher Edmunds shot him.
Police say the investigation is ongoing, and charges have not been filed.
Edmunds is on paid administrative leave during the investigation, which is standard procedure.
