Pat Summitt and her dog Sadie
The most coveted trophy in women's college basketball could soon be named after legendary University of Tennessee Coach Pat Summitt.
A Lady Vols fan in Minneapolis is petitioning the NCAA to name the Women's College Basketball Championship trophy after Summitt. More than 300 people have already signed the petition, but it needs a few thousand more people to join.
Summitt has eight NCAA championships, 18 Final Four appearances, and more than 1,000 wins. She now serves as Lady Vols Head Coach Emeritus.
