A Maryville teenager is dead following a car accident on Wednesday afternoon. It happened just before 3 on Morgantown Road in the Greenback area.
The sheriff says 18-year-old Lucas Kincaid lost control of his car after he over-corrected when coming out of a curve. The car hit a tree.
An ambulance took Kincaid to Blount Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The sheriff's office is investigating.
