East Tennessee fans got their Twilight fix, selling out several Regal auditoriums
Thursday night was a late one for Twilight fans, who stayed up for the premier of one of Hollywood's top franchises.
"Twilight: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2" is the final installment in the series. The vampires are back, and this time new-mom Bella has become one, too.
East Tennessee fans got their fix, selling out several Regal auditoriums at Pinnacle 18 in Turkey Creek, West Towne 9 in West Knoxville, and Riviera 8 Downtown.
"We've been here since 7 o'clock," said "Twi-hard" Zada Boyd. "I came because it's the last movie and I just wanted to see it the night it came out."
Erika Synamon and several of her friends traveled from Morristown to Knoxville to catch an 11:30pm showing.
"We've been watching, us as friends have been watching it forever, all of the series," she said. "And this one is just a big deal because we've read all the books and we're just super excited."
