The UT Police Department said it is investigating a possible assault in the new Sorority Village.

A female UT student reported a man had grabbed her from behind when she was outside a sorority house around 1 a.m. Saturday morning on Ann Baker Furrow Boulevard.

Police said the victim kicked the suspect and was able to run into her sorority house but did report minor injuries.

Officers said the student was not able to see where the man went,  but did describe the suspect as wearing a ski mask, dark-colored clothing, and possibly navy blue or black sweatpants. She said he appeared to be about six-feet tall with a slim build.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the UT Police Department at 865-974-3111.
