Knoxville firefighters will get to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings on Thursday thanks to some local businesses.

Many firefighters can't spend the holiday with their families because they're busy working to help the community. The local Servpro franchises banded together to deliver Thanksgiving turkey dinners to each Knoxville fire station as a way to say thank you from the community.

"Last year my husband and I traveled around and we delivered the turkeys, and it was amazing because there were so many stations that were closed because they were running out helping people, even on Thanksgiving morning when we were delivering. So it just shows you they're really busy and they're there for us in our need, and I just think it's an opportunity to give back," said Kristina Greenway.

The turkey dinners include enough food to make sure each firefighter is well fed with the traditional Thanksgiving dishes.
