TBI officials said a body was found in a lake at Kefauver Park in Madisonville Sunday.
The TBI has identified the man found dead in a Monroe County lake on Sunday.
Investigators say there were no obvious signs of trauma on Zachary Tyler Wilson's body, but an autopsy will determine how the 19-year-old died.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation confirms a body was found in the lake at Kefauver Park in Madisonville shortly after 1 p.m. Sunday.
TBI Public Information Officer Kristin Helm said TBI, the District Attorney's office and Madisonville police all responded.
Helm said the body will be taken for autopsy to determine the cause of death and make a positive ID.
Neighbors in the area said news of the discovery is shocking. "It's strange because there's so many kids around. i don't live very far from it," Madisonville resident Savannah Jenkins said.
Jenkins said she often fishes at the park, which is a popular spot among locals. "I mean they do events all the time for the fall fest and Fourth of July and all that," Jenkins said.
