The American Red Cross is helping some soldiers receive holiday greetings. Every year, the group organizes a drive to give thanks to military members and their families.
All you have to do is write a message of thanks or holiday cheer and mail it to the Red Cross. The group will then make sure it gets sent along.
Since the program began in 2006, over 4.7 million cards have been sent.
"When families are separated from their military loved ones, they get homesick, and what the Holiday Mail for Heroes does is it helps bring home a little bit closer to these deployed men and women," said Stan Gibert with the Red Cross.
If you'd like to send a card, mail it to:

Letters need to be postmarked by December 7 in order to make sure they arrive before the holidays.
