The Anderson County Sheriff's Department says a man interrupted a burglar at his parents' house, and held him at gunpoint until deputies arrived.
Investigators say the man spotted a strange car at his parents' home on Thursday, so he stopped to investigate. He got his father's shotgun, and confronted the burglar inside the home. He then called 911 and several deputies responded.
Christopher Shane Pack, 29, of Knoxville, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Burglary, Theft of Property, Possession of Schedule II, and Possession of Burglary Tools. He is being held in the Anderson County Detention Facility.
He is also wanted on outstanding warrants in three counties: in Knox County for Aggravated Burglary and two Thefts; in Sevier County for
Aggravated Burglary; and in Blount County for a Probation Violation
warrant where the original charge was theft.
Investigators are working to determine if he may be a suspect in other burglaries.
