Sevier Heights Baptist Church is practicing for an East Tennessee Christmas tradition spanning more than two decades.
The church will perform "The Living Christmas Tree" this weekend into next week at the Thompson-Boling Arena.
On Monday the cast spent part of the evening rehearsing for the larger than life show, which has been in the works beginning this summer.
Organizer Callie Holland said audiences can expect some changes this year.
"We have new sets, new music... not just the same old 'Living Christmas Tree,'" said Holland.
Performance begin Saturday and continue through next Monday at the Thompson-Boling Arena.
