A local Shriner's Club is rebuilding, more than one year after a devastating fire.
A fire destroyed the West Knox Shriner's Club headquarters in Farragut in September 2011, while the group was holding a meeting.
Everyone made it out safely, but the building was a total loss.
Now, after months of sorting out funding and building permits, the club is breaking ground on a new gathering place.
"This is a long time coming, but we're anxious to get back in business so we have our monthly meetings and plan our strategy to make money for the kids, the newspaper sale and everything that we do in the benefit of the Children's Hospital," said Bob Williamson, the 2013 President of West Knox Shrine Club.
The club expects the building to be up by the end of the month. They hope to be able to move in sometime in January.
