Santa made a special stop on Wednesday to visit some kids who are really in need of some Christmas cheer.
The big guy himself, along with Mrs. Claus and some of the elves dropped by East Tennessee Children's Hospital to see some of the patients and their parents.
"That was such a great surprise. For any kid to be in the hospital is hard because kids just want to be kids, and for it to be this time of year when you're supposed to be merry, it was just great. It's just a great surprise, I heard his bells before I saw him," said mother Jessica Owen.
You can see Santa and all the gang on Friday evening during the 37th Annual Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade in downtown Gatlinburg. It starts at 7:30pm.
