Prince William's dad is quite looking forward to adding "grandfather" to his title.
During a brief interview with the BBC Thursday, Prince Charles said he's "thrilled" about the expansion of the royal family.
"I'm thrilled. It's marvelous," he said. "It's a very nice thought of grandfatherhood in my old age. So, that's splendid. And, I'm very glad my daughter-in-law is getting better - thank goodness."
Prince Charles also showed that he has a sense of humor regarding the recent prank call placed to the hospital where Kate Middleton was being treated for severe morning sickness.
When the videographer approached him with questions about the royal baby news, Charles quipped with a hearty laugh, "How do you know I'm not a radio station?"
