Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee said it is collecting salvageable meat that the tractor trailer was hauling.

The ramp is still closed as crews work on cleaning up the wreck.

Original Story:

Rescue crews and police are on the scene of a semi crash on an 1-40 West exit ramp.

A  tractor trailer is flipped on its side, blocking the ramp to James White Parkway South.

The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Fire crews said no one was hurt, and the driver and passenger were out walking around.

No other cars were involved.

The semi driver took out a guardrail before flipping.

The trailer was hauling meat, and product was spewed all over the road, including tenderloins.
