Deputies are searching for two men responsible for a home invasion.

It happened just before 8 p.m. Monday at a home on Old Rutledge Pike in East Knox County. The sheriff's office says two men forced their way through the front door and held two adults and two children at gunpoint, demanding money.

The suspects shot through the front door when they entered the home. No one was hurt.

The sheriff's office says the suspects took pill bottles and a wallet, then fled.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office at (865) 215-2243.
