Knoxville police officers have arrested two suspects they believe may be connected to multiple burglaries.

In the early morning hours on Tuesday, KPD officers responded to four burglaries between 3 and 5 a.m. The burglaries took place at the Silver Spoon Cafe on Lovell Road, the Bearden Hill Field House,  Five Guys Burgers and Fries off Emory Road, and Spicy's on Emory Road.

Officials say they spotted a suspect vehicle at approximately 5:06 a.m., and the driver and passenger were taken into custody without incident. There were also two females in the car who were not arrested.

The two men who were arrested have been identified as Kenneth Carl Loveday, 41, and Timothy Gayton Ross, 39.

Officers say they obtained "large amounts" of evidence from the suspects' vehicle and residence through search warrants. They believe the suspects may be linked to as many as 10 to 20 additional burglaries over the past several months.

The suspects are currently charged with burglarizing Spicy's. They are being held on a $20,000 bond.
