A fun event that everyone looks forward to this time of year is the Tour De Lights. I've got my bike and my basket, now I just need some lights. We take a look at that and more in this week's 10 About Town.

The Knoxville Tour De Lights will start Thursday at 7:00pm on Market Square with pre-ride activities beginning at 6:00pm. The event is free, just make sure you have a helmet and headlight for your bike. The ride is less than six miles and prizes will be awarded for best decorated bike, best decorated person and best group theme.

Movie goers, get your wizard staff and your elf ears on. J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit hits theaters tonight at midnight.

The UT men will honor legendary coach Ray Mears at Thursday night's game versus Wichita State. If you can't make it out to the game you can catch it on Fox Sports South. Tip off is at 7:00pm.

If you haven't had a chance yet, be sure to catch the Clarence Brown Theatre's production of A Christmas Carol. Showtimes are 7:30pm except Sunday at 2:00pm.

The 26th Annual Clayton Holiday Concert will take place this Friday through Sunday at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium. Tickets range from $14 to $45. For times, check the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra's website.

Enjoy an underground winter wonderland with Cherokee Cavern's Christmas In The Cave. Tours are this Friday and Saturday with admission set at $8.

The Cove at Concord Park will sparkle starting this Friday for Knox County's Holiday Festival Of Lights. Each night from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, enjoy hot chocolate, s'mores, local crafters and much more.

The Channel 10 Heartbreakers play this Friday night at Paulette Elementary School. Foxxy's skills in the studio are matched only by his moves on the court. Tip-off is at 7:00pm.

Grace Baptist Church hosts its Let There Be Light musical at 6:00pm this Saturday and Sunday.

The Ice Bears have two home games this weekend. They'll face the Mississippi Riverkings on Friday and the Huntsville Riverhawks on Saturday. Puck drops at 7:30pm.

Santa will be making a stop at the Little Ponderosa Zoo Saturday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Enjoy the animals along with children's activities, including ornament decorating and pony rides. $2 off coupons can be found on the Little Ponderosa Zoo Facebook page.

The New Market Christmas Parade will take place this Saturday at 2:00pm.

If you want to add some humor to your holiday, then you may want to head to Pellissippi State's Hardin Valley campus for The Best Christmas Pageant Ever this Saturday and Sunday at 7:30pm. Tickets range from $5 to $12.

Tennessee Mountain Wrestling is holding a free show Saturday at 7:00pm at the New Beverly Baptist Church in Knoxville. If that's not enough contact for you, check out the Valor Championship Kickboxing event at KMAA on Sevier Heights Road. Tickets are $20 or bring an unopened gift for Toys For Tots and get in for $15. Doors open at 5:00pm.

The Oak Ridge Community Band Christmas Sing-Along Concert will be at the First Baptist Church Sanctuary on the Oak Ridge Turnpike. Show starts at 5, admission is free.

This Sunday from 1:00pm to 6:00pm, the Church Street United Methodist Church will take you back in time with its 16th Annual Walk Through Bethlehem. Admission is free.

The Lady Vols are headed to Texas to face the country's "other" UT. Tip-off against the Longhorns will be at 2:00pm on Fox Sports Net.
