Knoxville police arrested a man they say robbed a Walgreen's on Clinton Highway Monday. The suspect was also wanted for two weekend robberies in Anderson County, including a home invasion.
Curtis Lynn Lowe was at the Knox Co. Detention Facility Monday night.
Anderson Co. Sheriff Paul White said Lowe was involved in two robberies Saturday that began with a hold up at the Town Talk Market on Lake City Highway.
Witnesses told investigators a man held the clerk at knifepoint and threatened to cut the clerk's throat, according Sheriff White.
The suspect was accompanied by another man and a woman.
Later that day, deputies were called to a home on Sulpher Springs Rd., where a man and a woman had asked to use the phone.
Once inside, the man threatened to kill the victim and demanded his wallet, the sheriff said. The crime has been linked to the Town Talk robbery earlier in the day.
The suspect vehicle was later spotted in Clinton, and authorities took Gary Wayne Lowe, Misty Dawn Gurley, and Brandi Marie Bugg into custody. They were charged with crimes relating to the Anderson Co. robberies.
Deputies could not find Curtis Lowe until Monday's robbery at Walgreen's. He is now facing multiple charges.
A second suspect in the Walgreen's robbery, Timothy Bush, is also facing a robbery charge.
