After a Christmas party on Tuesday, the Fentress County Boys and Girls Club will close its doors, but its director hopes it won't be forever.
Edana Koger says they have no funds to continue operating the club, which is located at York Elementary School. Normally, they would have stayed open while school was closed for the holidays, to give their kids a place to come during the day, but that's not an option this year.
Koger says she is still hopeful that the national Boys and Girls Club organization will help them out so they can reopen in the new year.
