A judge has sentenced three siblings for robbing a Georgia bank during a cross-country crime spree that started in Florida and ended with a shootout in Colorado.
Lee Grace Dougherty, Ryan Dougherty, and Dylan Dougherty were all sentenced to more than 35 years in prison on Monday for the robbery of a bank in south Georgia last year. The three siblings previously pleaded guilty to charges related to capture in Colorado. Those sentences range from 18 to 32 years.
Police caught the "Dougherty Gang" in August of 2011 after a high speed chase. During the chase, the trio fired at officers.
They still faces charges in Florida, where officials say they shot at an officer during a high-speed chase.
During their week on the run, there were reports the siblings' car was spotted in Chattanooga.
