A group of East Tennessee firefighters put their balance to the test on Wednesday. The Sevierville Fire Department had ropes course training at the Wilderness Adventure Forest.
The ropes course trainers taught them their emergency take down procedure.
"Rope training is a little bit different than any other type of training that we do. You have to stay with it constantly. If not, it's easy to forget. So we always sharpen our skills a little bit. Each month, we have at least one to two rope type trainings," said Ricky Ray.
The firefighters also got a chance to walk the course and get comfortable with some of the obstacles.
