Forget about a suspect name or even a description. A ruling by the Tennessee Supreme Court now means prosecutors only need DNA evidence to go after a wanted person.

The ruling means nameless John Doe warrants can be used to convict suspects.

The decision stems from a 1994 rape case in Middle Tennessee where a woman bit off a piece of skin from her attacker. That evidence has since helped prosecutors convict that man.
