Holiday air travel delays are being reported at McGhee Tyson Airport.  The large winter storm in the Midwest is impacting flight schedules.

"If you're having a two hour delay here [Knoxville] that means the plane out of Chicago is two hours late leaving Illinois," said Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority spokesperson Becky Huckaby.

Thursday, Huckaby said travelers flying to or out of Chicago O'Hare International Airport are noticing one and two hour delays due to winter weather.

Flight schedules will most likely be impacted Friday as well.  The snow storm is predicted to move northeast.

McGhee Tyson officials suggest passengers call their airline or check flyknoxville.com for the latest information on arrivals and departures.
