Three people have died in a head-on collision in Campbell County, THP has confirmed.
It happened on Highway 63 near Angel Lane in Campbell County on Monday evening.
Officials say 19-year-old Joshua Peavley was driving westbound on Highway 63 when his Chevy truck crossed the center line and crashed into a Buick LeSabre head-on. The driver of the LeSabre, 59-year-old Gary Mefford, and the front seat passenger, 63-year-old Brenda Mefford, along with Peavley all died at the scene. None of them were wearing seat-belts.
Three backseat passengers in the LeSabre were injured in the crash and were transported to a local hospital.
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
