A new Tennessee law meant to keep impaired drivers off the roads.
State troopers will be out in full force for the New Year's Eve holiday.
Starting Friday at 6 p.m. through midnight on January 1, THP and local law enforcement will conduct their No Refusal DUI enforcement campaign. No Refusal allows law enforcement to seek search warrants for blood samples in cases involving impaired drivers.
Five people died in crashes on Tennessee roads during last year's New Year's Eve holiday. Three of those fatal accidents were alcohol related.
