The Lady Vols are back from Christmas break and have a busy weekend in front of them. They host two games in just three days. First up is Davidson on Friday night.
Right now, the Lady Vols focus is on defense. Five days after the loss to Stanford, Holly Warlick is still upset.
"I think our problem was defense and rebounding, so yesterday (Wednesday practice), we didn't touch a basketball, as far as our offense. If we'd had practice players here, we wouldn't have at all. I think the importance of our defense, trusting that if I put pressure on the ball I'm going to have help, finishing the play with a rebound - we didn't do those things at all against Stanford.
"We can be a great shooting team one night and not the shoot the ball well the next night, but you can always have your defense and rebounding. Always. That should be a staple here at Tennessee."
After Davidson, Tennessee has a quick turnaround with Rutgers on Sunday.
