One man has set up a survivors fund to help four East Tennessee children following an accident in Ohio, which killed their parents on Christmas Eve.

Scott and Michele Barhorst of Madisonville were driving to a family Christmas celebration in Ohio when a driver traveling the wrong way crashed into their mini van. The wreck killed a total of four people, including Scott and Michele Barhorst.

Brian Morris from Ohio heard about the crash and felt he had to do something to help the couple's children. Morris set up a survivors fund to help the family.

"What I want people to do is to reach into their heart and forget that five dollars they spend on something pointless and donate five, 10, 15, however much they can to this cause to try and help these kids out," said Morris. "I really want to help them create new memories, do great things."

In just two days, Morris said the account has raised nearly $5,000 dollars.
