Rural/Metro Firefighters responded to a fire shortly before 6:00 p.m. Sunday in West Knox County.
Crews are still on scene responding to a house fire on 10757 Mercury Drive.
According to firefighters, a bystander saw flames coming from its roof, alerted the elderly couple inside the home, and called 911.
According to Rural/Metro, everyone was out of the home when firefighters arrived on scene. Crews transported one person to Parkwest Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A spokesperson said the fire started in attic and flames were billowing from the roof.
