A Knoxville restaurant is stepping up to help some furry friends.

Every Monday in January, when someone buys a Kobe burger at the Orangery for $10, the restaurant will donate $5 to Young-Williams Animal Center. The money will help cover adoption fees for those wishing to take a new pet home.

"We are really excited because anything that puts our animals in the spotlight in the community and their needs and their adoptions makes us really happy, so we really like it," said Jeff Ashin, CEO of Young-Williams.

Last year, Young-Williams took in 15,000 animals.
