If you are happy in your job, you are not alone in Knoxville. The city ranks second among the happiest cities to work in!
"Career-Bliss" released its top ten list for 2013. It looked at more than 36,000 employee reviews.
According to the article in Forbes magazine, employees all over the country were asked to evaluate ten factors that affect workplace happiness. Those include one's relationship with the boss and co-workers, work environment, job resources, compensation, growth opportunities, company culture, company reputation, daily tasks, and control over the work done does on a daily basis.
Knoxville scored highest on co-worker relationships.
Here's a look at the happiest cities: Dayton, Ohio claimed the top spot, followed by Knoxville, Honolulu, Memphis, and Pittsburgh round out the top five.
So where are the unhappiest workers? Boulder, Colorado; Reno, Nevada; Wichita, Kansas; Fresno, California; and Little Rock, Arkansas.
