The outgoing manager for the Y-12 National Security Complex lost more than $12 million dollars in award fees, due to a security incident back in July.
B&W received only 58.9% of its total possible fee, which could have amounted to more than $60 million dollars.
In the end, the former Y-12 contractor earned closer to $35 million dollars for 2012.
More than $12 million dollars was cut from the fee, because of the security breach where three protestors made it to the outside wall of Y-12's most secure building.
