A Blount County road is closed due to a sinkhole.
Crews have closed Kittrell Avenue behind Coulter Springs Intermediate School.
The sinkhole opened up Tuesday afternoon, near a manhole leading to a sewer drain.
Workers from the city water department were there investigating the cause and doing some stabilization work.
