Update 9:24 a.m.

The Knoxville Police Department advises motorists to only exchange insurance and contact information with the other driver if they are involved in a crash without injuries.

In a press release, the KPD says roads in subdivisions and other secondary roads continue to cause problems.

Since the snow has stopped, the service has been monitoring rivers above flood stage.  Those include the French Broad River near Newport.
