Much of the snow that fell from Thursday night's storm is all but gone, but people in Cocke County, one of the hardest hit areas, took a little time to enjoy it.
The West sisters took the time to build a snowman and have a little snowball fight, because "we don't get it very much."
While the kids played, many of the adults still had to get to work. A lot of businesses delayed their openings to give workers more time to get there safely.
For one woman who moved to the area from Florida, she found the drive to work was an adventure.
"Definitely backed out very slowly and getting out and going up the hill next to my house, my wheels were kind of spinning, and then you have to go over the hill, " said Tena Bennett.
Everyone in Cocke County got some snow, but how much depended on where you were. In Newport, they averaged 4 to 5 inches of snow. In places like Cosby, which is a higher elevation, some places got even more.
