More than 3,000 gymnasts flipped into the Knoxville Convention Center for the Ozone Gymnastic Invitational over the weekend.
Athletes from 17 states came to Knoxville to compete in this competition. This year the tournament hosts a NCAA competition for the first time. It's been since the 1980s a NCAA gymnastic competition rolled into East Tennessee.
Organizers said participation has nearly doubled since it started 11 years ago.
Local businesses should rake in a lot of extra cash too, with more than 10,000 people coming to watch.
