Many East Tennesseans will be attending President Barack Obama's swearing-in Monday, and at least one will actually be singing in the event.
Anthony Bucciero is a senior telecommunications major at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. He is also a Sevierville native.
His college choir was informed in November that it was chosen to perform during the inauguration's pre-service.
"This is by far the biggest event I've sang at," Bucciero said.
The Lee University choir will sing a 9 song repertoire. Their songs will include "This Land is Your Land," "God Bless America," and "Chattanooga Choo-Choo".
According to Bucciero, he isn't the only person from East Tennessee in Lee's choir either. But, he said regardless of where everyone came from, being a part of Lee's choir is like being in one big family.
"You know, where ever we go, whoever we sing for, they may have the power to put us anywhere in the world," he said.
