Knoxville Police have identified two people involved in a shooting Monday night.  It happened in the parking lot of the Zaxby's restaurant on Cumberland Avenue strip near UT campus shortly after 8:30.

Police believe Erresse King, 23, and Anthony Davis, 19, were both shot during the incident.

King's friends dropped him off at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Davis was later found in a Townview apartment.  An ambulance transported Davis to UT Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.  Police believe both King and Davis allegedly had an altercation before the shooting occurred.

Authorities said King was "uncooperative" with investigators and indicated he would not prosecute anyone.

Investigators said they will try to interview Davis again Tuesday.

Officers said both men have lengthy criminal histories.  King has prior charges of multiple aggravated robberies, multiple weapons charges and aggravated burglary, among others.

Davis has prior weapons charges, multiple theft charges and drug possession, among others.
