A former Blount County church youth leader pleaded guilty to 15 counts of sex with a minor Tuesday afternoon.
Officials arrested Laura Lee Salazar and her husband Michael Salazar in September 2008 for sexually assaulting four teenage girls.
A judge sentenced Laura Lee Salazar to 12 years. She'll serve one year in prison and another 11 years on community corrections, which is a stricter from of probation. Salazar also has to register as a sex offender as part of the plea bargain.
Her husband pleaded guilty to charges of sexual battery and statutory rape in September 2010. He's currently serving part of a 20 year sentence.
