Hundreds of Tennessee National Guard members helped manage crowds at the Presidential Inauguration.
Starting at 3:30 a.m. on Monday, soldiers and airmen from across Tennessee were in position in DC, ready to help with crowd control.
Soldiers also helped direct commuter traffic. Hundreds of thousands of people used the subway system because of the inauguration.
Other soldiers helped the Secret Service man posts around the area where the inaugural balls were held.
Many of the Guard members were from Knoxville and Oneida.
