Ever since I was a young boy, I've always wanted to be a television news reporter. I remember being at my grandparents home where I would sit behind their coffee table pretending to read the news. I finally got my big break when I was 15 years old and I haven't stopped since.

I was born and raised in Lake Charles, LA, and attended McNeese State University, where I served as the school's Ambassador and was a member of its nationally recognized Speech & Debate team.

I was also one of 100 college students selected from across the nation to attend the International Radio & Television Society's (IRTS) Minority Career Workshop in New York City.

After receiving my Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications with a double-minor in sociology and theater, I started working as a paid, professional news reporter and anchor for KPLC-TV in my hometown.

While there I reported on many big stories, including the devastating effects of the 2008 hurricanes Gustav and Ike. After leaving KPLC, I then made my way further east to WTOC-TV in Savannah, GA (home of Paula Deen) and reported of lots of breaking stories. Now, I am glad to be in East Tennessee (GO VOLS!!!) working for WBIR-TV.

When I'm not telling your stories, there's no telling where you may see me. I enjoy being out in the city and trying new food and adventures. I also enjoy playing tennis and running. And some days I just want to sit at home and enjoy a good book or some good TV shows (reality shows and game shows are my guilty pleasures).
