Sponsored by Home Instead Senior Care, the Salute to Senior Service program recognizes senior volunteers for the many contributions they make in their local communities. We also are encouraging friends, co-workers, family members and nonprofit organizations to nominate deserving seniors for possible state and national honors.

Nominations will be accepted from Feb. 1 through March 31, 2013. The winner in each state will receive $500 and one national winner will receive $5,000 to donate to the winners' charities of choice.
