We also are encouraging friends, co-workers, family members and nonprofit organizations to nominate deserving seniors for possible state and national honors.

Nominations will be accepted from Feb. 1 through March 31, 2013. The winner in each state will receive $500 and one national winner will receive $5,000 to donate to the winners' charities of choice.
