A Sevier County woman says she shot her husband in self-defense, after turning herself in to authorities.
According to Sevier County Sheriff Ron Seals,911 received a call on Wednesday evening from a man who said he had been shot. When deputies arrived at the home on Estates Drive in Seymour, the found Donald Gregory, 64, dead of a gunshot wound.
Around the same time, Gregory's wife and daughter, whose names have not been released, showed up at the sheriff's office. One of the women told authorities she shot her husband in self-defense during a domestic dispute.
No charges have been filed at this time. Sheriff Ron Seals says once the investigation is complete, the District Attorney General's office will review the case to determine if the woman will be charged.

They are in custody, but at this point deputies are not calling them suspects.
