A Powell man is behind bars charged with shooting his brother earlier this month in Anderson County according to the sheriff.
Jamie Lynn Lowe, 30, of Powell, was taken into custody Tuesday on a fugitive from justice warrant for a parole violation in Michigan.
The next day, while at the Anderson County jail, he was served with warrants for attempted second degree murder and aggravated assault for the shooting of Jeffery Allen Lowe.
Jamie and Jeffery were brothers.
The shooting happened at their mother's home on Johnson Gap Road near Clinton on February 1st.
Investigators are continuing to investigate the shooting. They are not commenting on motive.
Jamie Lowe's bond was set at $150,000.00 for the charges in Tennessee. But he is being held on no bond for the fugitive from justice charges out of Michigan. Originally, Jamie Lowe
Lowe had been paroled for a Michigan methamphetamine conviction in 2008.
An Anderson County shooting sent one man to the hospital with a potentially life-threatening wound Friday morning.
Deputies responded to a shooting at 154 Johnson Gap Road shortly before 10:45 a.m. Upon arrival authorities found Jeffery Allen Lowe, 28, suffering from a gunshot wound. Lifestar transported Lowe to UT Medical Center with a potentially life-threatening injury.
Anderson County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating circumstances behind the shooting, and its not releasing further details at this time. Officials are not releasing Lowe's condition currently as well.
