Alcoa police identify 3 bodies in possible double homicide-suicide

Alcoa Police Department have identified three bodies found in a possible double homicide and suicide at a residence. 

Officers responded to a shooting call at 813 Maple Street at 8:41 p.m. Sunday.  When they arrived, two men and one woman were found dead inside their home.  Police believe Amos Louis Turbyfill, 41, shot and killed Stacy L. Wade, 39, Joshua J. Demitri, 18, before killing himself.  Authorities believe Turbyfill was Wade's boyfriend.  All three people lived inside the Maple Street home.  

According to City of Alcoa press release, the incident is still under investigation, but detectives said the deaths appear to be the result of a double homicide and suicide.  Detectives are still searching for a motive behind the shooting.

Three people are dead following a shooting at a residence in Alcoa.
