We've experienced chilly temperatures lately in East Tennessee.  If you're looking for a way to warm up, you may want to go underground.

Cherokee Caverns sits more than 100 feet under the earth's surface in Knox County.  The geological beauty boasts a year round 58 degree temperature.

Cherokee Caverns will offer "Warm Up in the Cave" tours on Saturday, February 9th, 2013 from 10am till 4pm.

The cave is located at 8524 Oak Ridge Highway, Knoxville, TN 37931.  Admission is $8.00 per person (cash or credit/debit cards accepted).  Children 6 and under are free.  Plenty of free parking and restrooms are available.  The cave is handicap accessible.

Proceeds benefit the maintenance and preservation of Cherokee Caverns.

For more information, check out the cavern's website.
