A lockdown for all Greene County and Greeneville city schools is over and now a 14-year-old boy is facing a felony charge for the hoax.
Tuesday morning, Greene County authorities say they got an anonymous threat that a gunman was going to be on campus at Chucky Doak High School. The county locked down all the schools as a precaution.
Now, Sheriff Steve Burns says prosecutors have charged a 14-year-old boy for filing a false report.

An anonymous gun threat placed all Greene County and Greeneville City schools on lockdown Tuesday morning.
A caller told Greene County dispatchers that a gunman was going to be on the campus of Chuckey Doak High School.
According to WCYB, officials placed other county and city schools on a modified lockdown as a precaution.
Authorities are on the scene investigating the call. They believe a student placed the 911 call.
No other information is being released at this time.
